Located on the campus of UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, NWMOC provides at-your-location services by seasoned practitioners with expertise in manufacturing management. The experts at NWMOC deliver integrated services to manufacturers in 33 northern and western Wisconsin counties.
Manufacturers come to NWMOC for the impartial guidance they need to increase the competitive advantage for their businesses. We provide point solutions for specific issues or undertake company-wide lean transformations.
Part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST/MEP), NWMOC ranks high in customer satisfaction. Last fiscal year, NWMOC provided technical assistance to 139 firms. In FY 2007-08, client-reported impacts exceeded $60 million with a customer satisfaction rating of 4.78 on a 5.0-point scale.
